Patthar Ke Phool
''Patthar Ke Phool'' () is an Indian 1991 Hindi-language action film directed by Anant Balani, produced by G. P. Sippy, written by Salim Khan, and edited by Deepak Sehgal. It stars Salman Khan as a police officer opposite debutant Raveena Tandon. The supporting cast includes Kiran Kumar as an underworld gangster and Reema Lagoo as mother of the police officer. The film was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year. Tandon won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance. Plot Suraj is the son of Inspector Vijay Verma (Vinod Mehra) and his wife, Meera (Reema Lagoo). One day, Suraj meets a girl named Kiran. Anant Balani
Anant Balani (1962 – 29 August 2003) was a Bollywood film director and screenwriter. He directed films such as ''Patthar Ke Phool'' in 1991 which starred Salman Khan and Raveena Tandon in lead roles. He also wrote the script for ''Insaaf: The Justice'', released in 2004. He died of a heart attack on 29 August 2003 in Mumbai. 2003 had been a strenuous year for him and he had finished three films and was working on a fourth at his time of death. Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer. Early life Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of singers Pankaj Udhas and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job. He was interested in music since childhood. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films.
