Patterson Station (SkyTrain)
Patterson is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Central Boulevard and Patterson Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. It is the westernmost Expo Line station in Burnaby. Location The station is located at the northeastern fringe of Burnaby's Central Park, at the corner of Patterson Avenue and Central Boulevard. A stretch of the Expo Line west of the station runs through the park. Due to its proximity to Central Park, a large wooded park with trails leading to Swangard Stadium, the station is primarily used by local residents in the area. NRG station (formerly named AT&T station, and earlier Pattison station) is the southern terminus of SEPTA's Broad Street Line, located at 3600 South Broad Street, at the intersection with Pattison Avenue in the South Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station's naming rights were sold to NRG Energy in 2018. Previously, naming rights were sold to AT&T for eight years. New Westminster Station
New Westminster is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Columbia Street and 8th Street in New Westminster, British Columbia. In 2012, the station was incorporated into the Shops at New West complex, making it the first train station in Canada to have a direct connection to a shopping centre at the platform level. Holdom Station
Holdom is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Holdom Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Located adjacent to the station is a residential development with two high-rise towers, low-rise units, and several commercial shops. History Holdom station was opened in 2002 as part of the original Millennium Line project. Structure and design Holdom station was designed by the architecture firm Hotson Bakker Architects, and its structure is topped with a sculpture, by glass artist Graham Scott, which includes square lanterns made of sandblasted mirror that is lit by stage-quality lighting. Commercial–Broadway (formerly two separate stations, Broadway and Commercial Drive) is a rapid transit station complex in Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain system in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It serves an elevated portion of the Expo Line and a below-grade portion of the Millennium Line. It is a major transit hub, with the third-highest number of boardings of any SkyTrain station, and a terminus of the region's busiest bus route, the 99 B-Line. VCC–Clark Station
VCC–Clark is an elevated station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is named after the nearby Vancouver Community College (VCC) located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and serves as the western terminus of the Millennium Line. Millennium Line
The Millennium Line is the second line of the SkyTrain rapid transit system in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia, Canada. The line is owned and operated by BC Rapid Transit Company, a subsidiary of TransLink, and links the cities of Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam and Port Moody. The line was opened in 2002 and was named in recognition of the new millennium. Route The Millennium Line operates from VCC–Clark station in Vancouver to Lafarge Lake–Douglas station in Coquitlam. The line is elevated to Burquitlam station, where it then goes through a bored tunnel to the city of Port Moody. In Port Moody, the line runs at grade level, rising to cross railway tracks. The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, or simply Expo 86, was a World's Fair held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from May 2 until October 13, 1986. The fair, the theme of which was "Transportation and Communication: World in Motion – World in Touch", coincided with Vancouver's centennial and was held on the north shore of False Creek. It was the second time that Canada held a World's Fair, the first being Expo 67 in Montreal (during the Canadian Centennial).
