Pattaya United Football Club ( th, สโมสรฟุตบอลพัทยา ยูไนเต็ด) was a Thai football club based in Pattaya, Chonburi Province. Defunct after the 2018 season, the club was renamed to Samut Prakan City and relocated to Samut Prakan. Pattaya United's first-ever competitive game was against Thailand Division 2 League side Rajpracha in the 2009 Queen's Cup which they won 5–0. For six years the club remained in the TPL, and finished as high as sixth, and fourth in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The Dolphins were relegated to the Yamaha League One in 2014 and promoted to Thai League 1 again in 2016. 2010 Thai Premier League
The 2010 Thai Premier League was the 14th season of the Thai Premier League since its establishment in 1996. A total of 16 teams competed in the league, with Muangthong United as the defending champions. League Expansion It was announced at the end of the season that the TPL would increase the number of teams for the start of the 2011 Thai Premier League season. Therefore, at the end of season the three teams in the Thai Premier League that finished the season in the bottom three places (14th, 15th and 16th) would face the fourth, fifth and sixth teams from Division One in a promotion/relegation series. Tana Chanabut ( th, ธนา ชะนะบุตร; born June 6, 1984), simply known as Man ( th, แมน) is Thai professional football manager and former football player. Club career Tana has also played for Thailand Premier League side Provincial Electricity Authority FC and Coke's rivals Chonburi FC whom he played on loan at for the second half of the Thailand Premier League 2008 season, when Chonburi themselves came runners up. The 2008 Thai Premier League had 16 teams. It was the twelfth since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 18 February 2008, and the season ended on 11 October 2008. Three teams would be relegated to Thailand Division 1 League. The League Cup ( th, ไทยลีกคัพ) is a football cup competition in Thailand. It is also known as Toyota League Cup for sponsorship reasons. It was re-formed during the 2010 domestic football league season in Thailand and runs along the same lines as the Thai FA Cup except that the earlier rounds would be regional rather than an open draw. Final Format Thai League Cup is open to all members of the Football Association of Thailand and Thai League 1 and is divided into eight rounds; the remaining Thai League teams enter at the first round. Matches in all rounds are single-legged, except for the semi-finals, which have been two-legged since the competition began. In single-legged top division teams will plays as away team. Kor Royal Cup ( th, ถ้วยพระราชทาน ก. ; ถ้วย ก.), known as the Yai Cup ( th, ถ้วยใหญ่) until 1963, was the highest level of club football competition which competed in the tournament in Thailand from 1916 to 1995. It was founded by the Football Association of Thailand in 1916. Department of Performing Arts was the first team that won this competition.
