Patsy Gallacher
Patrick Gallacher (16 March 1891 – 17 June 1953) was an Irish footballer, playing in the inside-right position, and most noted for his career at Celtic - he is one of the club's leading goalscorers of all time. Early life Patsy was born in a workhouse in Milford, County Donegal. His parents were both originally named Gallagher but at some point the spelling was altered. Gallacher was three years old when his family moved to Clydebank in Scotland and he played for his first schoolboy team at Our Holy Redeemer's Primary School in the town. Patsy had to organise the team, acting as captain and secretary because every teacher in the school was female and showed little interest in the sport. Patsy remembered his first trophy in the Yoker Athletic Schools' Tournament playing for Holy Redeemer who were the dark horses of the competition. Milford, County Donegal
Milford or Millford, historically called ''Ballynagalloglagh'' (), is a small town and townland in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The population at the 2016 census was 1,037. Yoker Athletic
Yoker Athletic Football Club are a Scottish football club based in Clydebank near Glasgow. Yoker is an area of Glasgow adjacent to Clydebank, however Yoker's stadium lies just outside the Glasgow boundary. Nicknamed the ''Whe Ho'', the club were formed in 1886 and are based at Holm Park. The club currently operate in the and play in royal blue or orange strips. Local rivals Clydebank entered the Junior grade in 2003–04 and ground shared with Yoker at Holm Park from 2008 until 2018 after leaving their ground in Duntocher. Jimmy McMenemy
James McMenamin (11 October 1880 – 23 June 1965), was a Scottish footballer who most notably played for Celtic from 1902 to 1920 and later served as assistant manager in the 1930s. He has been described by the club as ''"a true Celtic legend"''. Early life James was born in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, on 11 October 1880 to John McMenamin and Hannah Regan; his father adopted the name 'McMenamin' after he moved to Scotland from County Tyrone. John's brother, also called James, settled in Rutherglen during the same period with his wife Ann Smith but maintained the traditional spelling 'McMenemy'. Davie Hamilton
David Hamilton (31 January 1882 – 25 January 1950) was a Scottish footballer who played as an outside left (winger). He played for Celtic for ten years between 1902 and 1912. Career Club Born in Glasgow, Hamilton played for junior side Cambuslang Hibernian as a teenager. He was selected for the Scotland Junior international team, alongside future Celtic teammate Alec Bennett. Having attracted the attention of Celtic with a hat-trick in a Junior test against Ireland played at their ground in March 1902, Hamilton was soon signed by the ''Hoops'' and within a few weeks was selected for the British League Cup final against Rangers which Celtic won. James Quinn (8 July 1878 – 21 November 1945) was a Scottish footballer who played for Celtic for 15 years, becoming one of the club's leading goalscorers of all time. He also represented Scotland. Manuel Francisco dos Santos (28 October 1933 – 20 January 1983), nicknamed Mané Garrincha, best known as simply Garrincha (, "little bird"), was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a right winger.
