Patrick Woods-Toth
Patrick Woods-Toth is a Canadian racing driver who currently competes in the Formula Regional Americas Championship for Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport. He was the 2023 Formula 4 United States Championship champion. Career Early career and karting After losing his parents as a young boy, Woods-Toth was raised by his grandparents and developed his passion for motorsports from his grandfather, with whom he'd drive ATVs and snowmobiles for a number of years. At the age of 14, Woods-Toth joined the Ron Fellows Karting Championship, and he would go onto win the 2022 edition of the championship alongside the Canadian Karting Championship and the Canadian Open Championship. At the conclusion of 2022, Woods-Toth attended the Radford Racing School in Arizona thanks to the F4 US Scholarship Award, which he earned from his performances in Fellows' local karting championship. Saint-Lazare, Quebec
Saint-Lazare is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada in the Regional County Municipality of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. History Originally part of the Seigneurie de Vaudreuil in the 18th century, the territory corresponding to Saint-Lazare was considered difficult to farm owing to sandy soil, and remained mostly uninhabited. In 1812, the first settlers were Americans from New England, then circa 1820 English from Cumberland, followed soon after by French Canadians. Saint-Lazare was founded as a parish municipality on December 29, 1875. The first church was built in 1877, destroyed by a fire in 1942 and subsequently rebuilt in 1947. 2024 Formula Regional Americas Championship
The 2024 Formula Regional Americas Championship is the seventh season of a FIA-sanctioned F3 series across North America, and the fifth season under the Formula Regional moniker after a rebrand in 2020. The series is promoted by SCCA Pro Racing, the professional racing division of the Sports Car Club of America. Reigning F4 US champion Patrick Woods-Toth won the Drivers' Championship with three races to spare in his debut season. His team, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsports - the only multi-car team - defended their Teams' Championship title, claiming it in the first race of round five. Euromarque Motorsport Park (often referred to as Ruapuna) is a permanent motor racing circuit owned and operated by the Canterbury Car Club Inc on land leased from the Christchurch City Council. It is located at 107 Hasketts Road in Templeton, west of Christchurch, New Zealand. It was opened as Ruapana Park in 1963, and between 2004 and 2013 was known as Powerbuilt Raceway at Ruapuna Park. The Hampton Downs Motorsport Park is situated in rural northern Waikato (about halfway between Auckland and Hamilton on the Waikato Expressway), New Zealand near the Meremere drag strip and the dirt track club. History The motorsport park is an ambitious privately funded enterprise by two motorsport friends, Tony Roberts and Chris Watson. Roberts and Watson purchased two dairy farms from Envirowaste in December 2003 and began the long task of getting resource consent to build the Motorsport Park. Opposition from Transit NZ and the Corrections Department (their new prison is 2 km away) caused delays due to concerns over traffic, litter and odour, which was ironic with the landfill only away. Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon (formerly Manfeild Autocourse) is a motor sport circuit located in Feilding, New Zealand. It was built by thManawatu Car Clubin 1973 as a purpose-built course. Taupo International Motorsport Park and Events Centre (previously known as the Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park) is a motorsports circuit located in Broadlands Road, Taupo, New Zealand.
