Patrick Walden
Patrick George Walden (born 5 October 1978 in Islington, London) is best known as the former guitarist for Babyshambles. Prior to joining Babyshambles, Walden belonged to a variety of London groups, among which were Fluid, the Six Cold Thousand, and The White Sport. He played guitar for The White Sport alongside another future Babyshambles member, drummer Adam Ficek. Walden also worked as a live guitarist and as a session musician, playing bass and guitar for numerous recording artists. Among those acts were Whitey (musician), Whitey, James Blunt, 500 and Crave, Ed Laliq, and, very briefly, The Honeymoon (band), The Honeymoon. Career Babyshambles In the early summer of 2004, when Pete Doherty once again found himself cast out of The Libertines because of his drug use, he brought Babyshambles to the fore with Walden on lead guitar. Islington () is a district in the north of Greater London, England, and part of the London Borough of Islington. Gemma Clarke
Gemma Clarke is a musician, who was previously the drummer for The Suffrajets, The Krak and Babyshambles and Adam Ant. She has recently taken up writing, and her article, entitled "For the love of music" was published in Louder Than Bombs Magazine. Her family owns a rehearsal studio in Old Street, called Rooz Studios, and a venue in Holloway Road called Nambucca. Gemma is now drummer in up and coming indie grunge band called JW Paris Babyshambles For a year, Clarke played drums for the ex-Libertine Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles. She left in January 2005, citing disagreements with the management. Seb Rochford
Sebastian Rochford is a British drummer and composer. He has recorded and released music as leader of the British band Polar Bear, as Kutcha Butcha and as part of numerous collaborations. Early life Rochford was born in Aberdeen and has a large family of two brothers and seven sisters. He is of English and Anglo-Indian descent. His father, Gerard Rochford, was a poet. Rochford's first performances were with a punk band called Cabbage in Aberdeen. He then studied at the Newcastle College of Music before moving to London. Later life and career Rochford was band leader and composer of award-winning Polar Bear. The group released its first album ''Dim Lit'' in 2004 and its final album ''Same As You'' in 2015. Mick Whitnall (born 7 November 1968, Doncaster, Yorkshire) is the English lead guitarist for Pete Doherty's rock band Babyshambles, replacing former guitarist Patrick Walden. He lived in South Africa for a time when he was a young boy while his father was working there. Thurston Joseph Moore (born July 25, 1958) is an American musician best known as a member of Sonic Youth. The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, Fender Jazzmaster is an electric guitar designed as a more expensive sibling of the Fender Stratocaster. First introduced at the 1958 NAMM Show, it was initially marketed to jazz guitarists, but found favor among surf rock guitarists in the early 1960s. ''Down in Albion'' is the debut album by Babyshambles, Pete Doherty's post-Libertines band. ''Down in Albion'' was released on 14 November 2005 on Rough Trade Records, although it was leaked on to the Internet on 19 October 2005. Produced by Mick Jones, ''Down in Albion'' contains a rerecorded version of their second single "Killamangiro" as well as a reggae track, "Pentonville". The influence of The Clash has been noted on songs such as "À rebours" and "The 32nd of December". The inclusion of "Albion" is controversial among fans, due to the song's history as a fan favorite from the days of The Libertines. The first track, "La Belle et la Bête" ( French for "Beauty and the Beast"), features the vocals of Doherty's then-girlfriend Kate Moss, and "Pentonville" was written by Doherty and The General, a friend he met whilst an inmate in Pentonville Prison.
