Patrick Odhiambo
Patrick Okumu Odhiambo is a former Kenyan defender who currently serves as the head coach at Kenyan Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz. Career Odhiambo coached Kenyan topflight sides Chemelil Sugar and Sony Sugar before joining Gor Mahia as an assistant coach in 2019. He then crossed borders in July 2021 to coach Tanzania's Biashara FC, then Prisons FC from Jan 2022 before returning to Kenya to take over the reigns at Kakamega Homeboyz in Feb 2023. Gor Mahia Football Club (), commonly also known as ''K'Ogalo'' (), is a football club based in Nairobi, Kenya. They have won the Kenyan Premier League a record 19 times, and have also won the FKF President's Cup a record 11 times. They are the only team from Kenya to win an African continental title to date, having won the African Cup Winners' Cup in 1987 after previously reaching the final in 1979. The club was formally established on 17 February 1968 as a merger of Luo Union and Luo Sports Club (also known as Luo Stars) and won the national league at the first time of asking. Chemelil Sugar
Chemelil Sugar Football Club, or simply Chemelil Sugar FC, was a Kenyan football club based in Chemelil. They were playing in the top division in Kenyan football from 1997 to 2020 when the team got disbanded. Their home stadium was Chemelil Sports Complex. The club won Kenyan Cup in 2003, but most top clubs pulled out of the competition due to a feud between them and Kenya Football Federation. The club was owned by the Chemelil Sugar Company. The club was founded in 1968 and joined the district league. It won the Provincial league in 1995 and was promoted to the Super League (the 2nd tier league in Kenya). SonySugar Football Club is an association football club based in Awendo, Kenya. It was competing in the Kenyan Premier League, the top tier of the Kenyan football league system, and played its home games at the Sony Green Stadium. Due to failure attributed to financial challenges facing the sponsor, the club was relegated from the Kenya Premier League.
