Patrick McEleney
Patrick McEleney (born 26 September 1992) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Derry City in the League of Ireland Premier Division. He has previously played for Sunderland, Oldham Athletic and Dundalk. McEleney has represented Dundalk and Derry City in European competition. Club career Sunderland McEleney joined Sunderland from Foyle Harps on a scholarship in the summer of 2008. He signed a -year professional contract with the club in September 2008 and formed part of the under-18 and reserves teams which won their respective leagues that season under Kevin Ball. Both he and Everton youth team prospect, Shane Duffy, were granted a Civic Reception by the Mayor of Derry, Colr. Gerard Diver in the Guildhall in April 2009 to acknowledge their swift rise to prominence at their clubs. Gerard Diver
Gerard Diver (born 1 January 1965) is an Irish Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) politician who served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Foyle between January and March 2016. Diver was first elected to Derry City Council in 2001, representing the DEA of Waterside in Derry. From 2008 to 2009, Diver served as Mayor of Derry. In 2014, after the boundary changes, Diver was re-elected onto the newly formed Derry City and Strabane District Council. Trabzonspor Kulübü is a Turkish sports club located in the city of Trabzon. Formed in 1967 through a merger of several local clubs, the men's football team has won seven Süper Lig championships. Trabzonspor also have a women's football team, and used to have a men's basketball team. Trabzonspor are one of the most decorated clubs in Turkey. They have won seven Süper Lig titles and were the first non Istanbul-based club to win the league. They also have won nine Federation Cup (Turkish Cup) titles. The Setanta Sports Cup was a club football competition featuring teams from both football associations on the island of Ireland. Inaugurated in 2005, it was a cross-border competition between clubs in the League of Ireland from the Republic of Ireland and the NIFL Premiership from Northern Ireland. Turners Cross is an all-seater football stadium located in and synonymous with the district of Turners Cross in Cork, Ireland. It is owned by the Munster Football Association (MFA), and is used by the MFA and by League of Ireland side Cork City. It was the first all-seated, all-covered stadium in Ireland following redevelopment in 2009, and it is currently one out of only two, the other being the Aviva Stadium. Graham Rickard Cummins (born 29 December 1987) is a retired Irish footballer. Playing career Early career Cummins played the majority of his schoolboy football with Tramore Athletic and also had a spell with College Corinthians. Cobh Ramblers Cummins joined Cobh Ramblers in 2006 and achieved promotion with them in his second season under Stephen Henderson. He scored 11 league goals as Cobh won the First Division, and he was named in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year. He continued to play for Cobh in the Premier Division in 2008, but they were relegated that year.
