Patrick M. Stillman
Patrick M. Stillman is a retired Rear Admiral of the United States Coast Guard. Stillman graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 1972 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Stillman was assistant commandant for governmental and public affairs and has held several sea commands. Stillman's afloat assignments included Operations Officer, Executive Officer and later Commanding Officer of ''Eagle''. He was the first commanding officer of the 270-foot medium endurance cutter USCGC Forward (WMEC 911) Early in his career, he commanded the cutter Cape Cross. He served on the cutter ''Valiant'' as a deck watch officer and as Executive Officer on the cutter ''Vigorous''. He was the Program Executive Officer (PEO) of the Integrated Deepwater System Program (IDS) from April 2001 to his retirement in April 2006 (G-D), becoming the founding father of the IDS. Wesleyan theology, otherwise known as Wesleyan– Arminian theology, or Methodist theology, is a theological tradition in Protestant Christianity based upon the ministry of the 18th-century evangelical reformer brothers John Wesley and Charles Wesley. More broadly it refers to the theological system inferred from the various sermons (e.g. the Forty-four Sermons), theological treatises, letters, journals, diaries, hymns, and other spiritual writings of the Wesleys and their contemporary coadjutors such as John William Fletcher. The Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal (CGDSM) is a military decoration of the United States Coast Guard that was established 4 August 1949 and is presented to coast guardsmen for "Exceptionally meritorious service to the government in a duty of great responsibility." Prior to this date, members of the Coast Guard were eligible to receive the Navy Distinguished Service Medal. Coast Guard Commendation Medal
The Commendation Medal is a mid-level United States military decoration presented for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service. Each branch of the United States Armed Forces issues its own version of the Commendation Medal, with a fifth version existing for acts of joint military service performed under the Department of Defense. The Commendation Medal was originally only a service ribbon and was first awarded by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard in 1943.
