Patricio Garino
Patricio Nicolas Garino Gullotta "Pato" (born May 17, 1993) is an Argentine professional basketball player who last played for Bàsquet Girona of the Liga ACB. He played college basketball for George Washington University. He also represents the senior Argentina national basketball team, Argentina national team. He is a 2.01 m (6'7") tall shooting guard-small forward. Early career Garino played basketball, football, and swimming in Mar del Plata. In 16, he moved to the United States. At the recommendation of then head coach Kevin Sutton, Garino attended Montverde Academy. Garino lead the Eagles to a 23–4 overall record and a No. 9 ranking in the final ESPNHS Powerade Fab 50 in 2011–12. Atlantic 10 Conference
The Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I. The A-10's member schools are located in states mostly on the United States Eastern Seaboard, as well as some in the Midwest: Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri as well as in the District of Columbia. Although some of its members are state-funded, half of its membership is made up of private, Catholic institutions. The 2014 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 68 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. The FIBA AmeriCup (previously known as the FIBA Americas Championship) is the Americas Basketball Championship that takes place every four years between national teams of the Western Hemisphere continents. Since FIBA organised the entire Western Hemisphere west of the Atlantic Ocean under one zone, countries from North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America compete in this tournament.
