Patricia McClain
Patricia Margot McClain (born May 3, 1954) is an American model. She was born in Long Beach, California and became ''Playboy'' magazine's Playmate of the Month for its May 1976 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Ken Marcus. In 1996, McClain's firing from her office manager job at a pest extermination company made national news. When she was first hired, she disclosed her playmate past to her employers and was told to keep quiet about it to her co-workers due to the company's sexual harassment policy. She was fired one month after Playboy published the book, ''Playboy Magazine: Five Decades of Centerfolds''. Her lawsuit gained much media attention including segments on ''Dateline'' and ''American Journal'', and the lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed sum. ''American Journal'' (alternately titled ''American Journal: Coast to Coast'' for its final season; also known as ''AJ'') is a syndicated television newsmagazine program that ran from 1993 to 1998. The series was distributed by King World Productions. Robert Earl "Bob" Filner (born September 4, 1942) is an American former politician who was the 35th mayor of San Diego from December 2012 through August 2013, when he resigned amid multiple allegations of sexual harassment. He later pleaded guilty to state charges of false imprisonment and battery. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Filner was previously the U.S. representative for , and the 50th, serving from 1993 to 2012. He was chair of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs from 2007 to 2011. Elton William Gallegly (born March 7, 1944) is a former U.S. Representative from California. A Republican, he last represented . He previously represented the 23rd and 21st Districts, and served from 1987 to 2013. He did not seek re-election in 2012. Gallegly is the longest-serving Congressional representative in Ventura County history. Ken Marcus (born October 2, 1946) is an American Photographer, best known for his glamour photography with ''Penthouse'' and ''Playboy'' magazines. For over 40 years he has produced hundreds of centerfolds, editorials, album covers, and advertisements. His work is shown in galleries, published in books and magazines. He was chosen as Artist-In-Residence at the Yosemite National Park Museum. For many years, Marcus has lectured and produced professional workshops in the US and Internationally. Early life and education Marcus's formal fine-art photographic training began at age 12. He studied with Ansel Adams in Yosemite National Park for 13 years as well as with Brett Weston, Paul Caponigro, Wyn Bullock, Imogen Cunningham and Judy Dater, all of whom influenced his early work.
