Patiška Reka (, ) is a village in the municipality of Sopište, North Macedonia. Jakupica
Jakupica (, ) or Mokra (, ) is a mountain range in the central part of North Macedonia. The headwaters of the Axios river (), mentioned by Homer (Il. 21.141, Il. 2.849) as the home of the Paeonians allies of Troy, spring from its flanks. Geography The highest peak is Solunska Glava . Other significant peaks are: Karadžica (, 2,473 m), Popovo Brdo (2,380 m), Ostar Breg (2,365 m), Ubava (, 2,353 m), Ostar Vrv (2,275 m), and Dautica (2,178 m). The mountain range can be easily approached from the capital Skopje, or from the town of Veles and many villages in the area. Vehicle Registration Plates Of North Macedonia
North Macedonia's vehicle registration plates consist of a two-letter region code, followed by a 4-digit numeric and a 2-letter alpha code (e.g. SK 1234 AB). 2021 North Macedonia Census
The 2021 North Macedonia census, officially known as the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, 2021, was the third census held in North Macedonia since independence, and the first since 2002. The census recorded a resident population of 1,836,713, a decrease of 9.2 percent, or 185,834, over the preceding 19 years. The census was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected its administration. It was also considered controversial by some Macedonian groups; the opposition party The Left openly led a boycott. 132,260 individuals (7.2% of the population) did not participate in the census and are officially labelled as "persons for whom data are taken from administrative sources"; no ethnic, language, or religious information is available for these individuals. Petar Skok
Petar Skok (; 1 March 1881 – 3 February 1956) was a Croatian linguist and onomastics, onomastician. His central work is the four-volume etymological dictionary of Serbo-Croatian. Biography Skok was born to a Croatian family in the village of Jurkovo Selo, Žumberak, Zagreb County, Žumberak. From 1892 to 1900 he attended the Gymnasium Karlovac, Higher Real Gymnasium in Rakovac near Karlovac. At the University of Vienna (1900 – 1904) he studied Romance languages, Romance and Germanic languages, Germanic philology and Indo-European studies, passing his professorship exam in 1906. He received Ph.D. with a thesis on South French toponomastics. As a high-school professor he taught in Banja Luka and served as a librarian of the Royal museum in Sarajevo. Upper Reka
Upper Reka (; ) is a geographic area and ethnographic subregion of the broader Reka region of western North Macedonia, including settlements within the upper left portion of the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuša and of Gostivar Municipality. The region historically is home to both a Muslim Albanian community and Christian Orthodox Albanian speaking population. In the modern period, Orthodox Upper Rekans self identify as Macedonians, and due to their migration from Upper Reka, the remaining population by 2010s are Muslim Albanian Upper Rekans.
