Pat Ward (racing Driver)
Pat Ward (March 6, 1957) is an American Dirt Modified racing driver, currently credited with over 145 career wins at 17 tracks in New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Racing career Pat Ward began his racing career in 1973 in a late model Mustang at Weedsport Speedway Since progressing to the Modified division, he has claimed track championships at Can-Am, Fulton, and Utica-Rome speedways in New York state. He has also competed and been victorious at the east coast race tracks from Florida to Canada, including Brewerton Speedway NY, Fonda Speedway NY, Selinsgrove Speedway PA, and the Syracuse Mile NY. Ward is also a respected fabricator and mechanic, having built his own cars and engines for much of his early career, and then joining manufacturer Howard Conkey's Show Car Engineering company in 1982. Patrick Ward (4 January 1950 – 14 October 2019) was an Australian actor noted for several performances on Australian television. He died from cancer on October 14, 2019. Early career Ward began his career as a dancer in choreographer Ross Coleman's production of ''Gotta Move'' at Sydney's Union Theatre (now Footbridge Theatre) around the same time as being signed by Pat Woodley's modelling agency. He trained at Sydney's Independent Theatre and signed with International Casting Services run by Gloria Payten who initially secured work for him as an extra in films such as ''That Lady from Peking'' and ''Color Me Dead''. TV At the beginning of the 1970s he was scoring acting work in various television shows. Patrick Ward (born 1937) is a British photographer who has published collections of his own work on British and other subjects as well as working on commissions for the press. Life and career Ward became interested in photography while doing National Service when a friend sent him the book of ''The Family of Man.''Daniela Mrázková, ''Masters of Photography: A Thematic History'' (Twickenham, Middx: Hamlyn, 1987; ), 192–193. Pat Ward (footballer)
Pat Ward (28 December 1926 – 15 March 2003) was a Scottish-born footballer who played as a wing half in the 1950s. He was born in Dumbarton, and after playing for junior side Glasgow Perthshire he was signed by Hibernian. He made his debut for Hibs on 24 March 1951 against St Mirren, although he did not play many games in his first three seasons. Ward made his breakthrough in 1953–54, with 26 appearances, although after a further 19 matches in the following campaign, he was transferred to Leicester City. In all he played 53 times for Hibs, scoring one goal (against Raith Rovers on 16 October 1954). He made a total of 57 English Football League appearances for Leicester, and for a time kept Colin Appleton out of the left half position. In the 1957–58 season he made three appearances for Leicester. Petricia S. "Pat" Ward (June 17, 1957 – October 15, 2012) was an Iowa State Senator from the 30th District. A Republican, her service in the Iowa Senate began in 2004, when she won a special election to fill the vacancy left when Mary Kramer was appointed to be U.S. Ambassador to Barbados.
