Pat Robitaille (born 1986) is a Canadian folk rock musician. Early life Robitaille was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. GarageBand is a line of digital audio workstations developed by Apple Inc. for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS devices that allows users to create music or podcasts. GarageBand is developed by Apple for macOS, and was once part of the iLife software suite, along with iMovie and iDVD. Michou (band)
Michou were a Canadian folk rock band from Windsor, Ontario. The group was active between 2007 and 2012. History Michou was started by singer-songwriter Mike Hargreaves as a solo project. In 2007 he joined multi-instrumentalist Ryan Ard, keyboardist/trumpeter Sasha Appler, bassist Ryan Frith and drummer Stefan Cvetkovic to create a full band. Michou's first release was 2007's EP, Medea. Their first studio album Myshkin was released 2008 in Canada, and produced a music video for the single "Control" that was aired on MuchMusic and MTV. Michou recorded three acoustic songs, "Rosehips", "Four Brothers", and "Weak Knees", at Winnipeg's Empire Recording studio. These were released in 2009 as an EP titled ''Rosehips''; the release was limited to 500 Dropcard downloads. Walkerville, Ontario
Walkerville, Ontario, is a former town in Canada, that is today a heritage precinct of Windsor, Ontario. The town was founded by Hiram Walker in 1890, owner and producer of Canadian Club Whisky. Walker planned it as a 'model town’, (originally called 'Walker's Town'), that would be the envy of both the region and the continent. He established a distillery on the Detroit River and grew his business by growing grain, milling flour, and raising cattle and hogs. Later, the town supported other major industries, notably automotive manufacturing. It was annexed to Windsor, July 1, 1935. Folk Rock
Folk rock is a hybrid music genre that combines the elements of folk and rock music, which arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. In the U.S., folk rock emerged from the folk music revival. Performers such as Bob Dylan and the Byrds—several of whose members had earlier played in folk ensembles—attempted to blend the sounds of rock with their pre-existing folk repertoire, adopting the use of electric instrumentation and drums in a way previously discouraged in the U.S. folk community.
