Pat Fielding
Pat Fielding (27 November 1875 – 5 August 1959) was an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder for the Kilkenny senior team. Fielding made his first appearance for the team during the 1900 championship and was a regular member of the starting for the next few seasons until his retirement after the 1904 championship. The Kilkenny County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (Kilkenny GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Cill Chainnigh) is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kilkenny. Mooncoin
Mooncoin () is a census town in County Kilkenny, in Ireland. The population was 1,175 in 2016. Historically part of the Gaelic kingdom of Osraige, today it is in the far south of the county of Kilkenny, located in the valley of the River Suir. It is surrounded by the uplands of the Slievenamon and Comeragh Mountains, just north of Waterford City along the N24 national primary road (Waterford to Limerick), and it is south of Kilkenny. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, the number of players and much terminology. The same game played by women is called camogie ('), which shares a common Gaelic root.
