It is the administrative capital and commercial centre of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland, and its southern part Peräpohjola. 1991–92 European Cup
The 1991–92 European Cup was the 37th season of the UEFA Champions League, European Cup association football, football club tournament. It was the first European Cup to have a group stage, from which the winning clubs progressed to the final. 1991–92 was the tournament's last edition before it was re-branded as the UEFA Champions League. The group stage involved the eight winning clubs from round 2. The clubs were split into two groups of four, playing each other home and away, and the winning club from each group met in the 1992 European Cup Final. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Between 1908 and 1930 the championship was decided as a knock-out cup competition. Structure During the 1990 and 1991 seasons the Veikkausliiga was played under the name "Futisliiga" ( sv, Fotbollsligan). Belgian Second Division
The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. History The second division was created in 1909 and was known as the Promotion nl, bevordering at the time. From 1923 on there were two leagues in that division (called Promotion A and Promotion B).
