Paser Regency
Paser Regency is a Regency (''kabupaten'') within East Kalimantan province in Indonesia, it is the southernmost regency of the East Kalimantan province. Its administrative centre is Tana Paser (or Tanah Grogot). It covers an area of 11,603.94 km2, and it had a population of 230,316 at the 2010 Census and 275,452 at the 2020 Census. Before 2007, this regency was formerly named Pasir Regency ( id, Kabupaten Pasir). East Kalimantan
East Kalimantan (Indonesian: ) is a province of Indonesia. Its territory comprises the eastern portion of Borneo. It had a population of about 3.03 million at the 2010 census (within the current boundary), 3.42 million at the 2015 census, and 3.766 million at the 2020 census. Balangan Regency
Balangan Regency is one of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It was created on 25 February 2003 from what were previously the eastern districts of North Hulu Sungai Regency. Kotabaru Regency is one of the eleven regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. Makassar Strait
Makassar Strait is a strait between the islands of Borneo and Sulawesi in Indonesia. To the north it joins the Celebes Sea, while to the south it meets the Java Sea. To the northeast, it forms the Sangkulirang Bay south of the Mangkalihat Peninsula. The strait is an important regional shipping route in Southeast Asia. Tana Paser
Tanah Grogot is a kecamatan and the capital of Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It shares a border with Kuaro in the north, Pasir Belengkong in the south. In the year 2020, its total population is 76,344. On December 29, 1959, Tanah Grogot was inaugurated as the capital of Paser Regency by the law No. 27 of 1959.
