The Party of Democratic Action ( bs, Stranka demokratske akcije (SDA)) is a political party in Kosovo. At the legislative elections held on 8 June 2014, the party won 0.15% of the popular vote and none out of 120 seats. The party represents the Bosniak minority of Kosovo and is affiliated to the Party of Democratic Action in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo on 24 October 2004. This was the second time the Assembly of Kosovo had a national election. The first form of national elections in Kosovo were in the 2001 Kosovan parliamentary election. They were the first national elections that were only partially dependent on OSCE institutions. History The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) was founded on 26 May 1990 in Sarajevo, as a "party of Muslim cultural-historic circle". It was a realisation of Alija Izetbegović's idea of an Islamic religious and national party in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
