Partners In Crime (American TV Series)
''Partners in Crime'' is an American crime drama television series set in San Francisco, California, created by William Driskill, that aired on NBC from September 27 to December 29, 1984 during the 1984–85 U.S. television season. NBC cancelled the show after 13 episodes. It was screened overseas as ''Fifty/Fifty'',From the United States Copyright Office catalog: to avoid confusion with the British series ''Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime'' which was also shown on ITV in the United Kingdom. Overview The series starred Lynda Carter as Carole Stanwyck and Loni Anderson as Sydney Kovack, two women with little in common except sharing Raymond as an ex-husband. Crime Drama
Crime films, in the broadest sense, is a film genre inspired by and analogous to the crime fiction literary genre. Films of this genre generally involve various aspects of crime and its detection. Rod Daniel
Rollin Augustus "Rod" Daniel III (August 4, 1942 – April 16, 2016) was an American television and film director, active from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. His films include the 1985 Michael J. Fox comedy film ''Teen Wolf'', which was a considerable box office success. Daniel, the son of a noted surgeon, was expected to follow in his father's footsteps. After returning to his native Tennessee from the Vietnam War, he chose to enter the advertising business, where he directed several commercials before moving to Los Angeles. There, his friendship with television producer Hugh Wilson enabled him to start a career in the television industry as a director and producer for Wilson's sitcom ''WKRP in Cincinnati''. Kevin Connor (director)
Kevin Connor (born 14 July 1937) is an English film and television director based in Hollywood. Biography Connor was born in Kings Cross, London on 14 July 1937. He left school in 1953, first working on documentary films in Soho. Later, he became a sound editor on several British productions, working with directors such as Tony Richardson, Richard Attenborough, Richard Lester, Abraham Polonsky and Michael Cacoyannis. Connor worked as an editor on ''Oh! What a Lovely War'' in 1969, and was eventually given his directing break with ''From Beyond the Grave'' in 1974, thanks to producer Milton Subotsky of Amicus Productions. Philip Saltzman
Philip Saltzman (September 19, 1928 – August 14, 2009) was an American executive producer and television writer. Saltzman was best known for his work as the executive producer of the 1970s CBS detective series, ''Barnaby Jones''. Saltzman was born in Hermosillo, Mexico, on September 19, 1928, to Jewish parents who had immigrated from Russia. He moved as a child to Los Angeles, California, with his parents. Saltzman obtained both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in English from University of California, Los Angeles. Don Weis (May 13, 1922 – July 26, 2000) was an American film and television director. Biography Weis was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Emma (née Wiener; 1889–1971) and Meyer Weis (1886-1942).
