Andy Partner
Andrew Neil Partner (born 21 October 1974) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League as a defender for Colchester United. Career Born in Colchester, Partner is the son of former Colchester United trainee Neil Partner and step-son to former club chief executive Marie Partner. He joined the U's during the club's brief stint outside of the Football League, making his debut on 16 December 1991 in 6–2 home defeat by Wycombe Wanderers. The competition was not favoured by manager Roy McDonough, opting for a weakened team to fully concentrate on the league and pile more fixtures on league rivals Wycombe. Ultimately, the U's gained promotion back to the Football League at the end of the season. Partner made two Football League appearances for Colchester, and in his final appearance during a 1–0 away defeat to Exeter City on 30 August 1994 he suffered a broken knee cap. David Partner
David M Partner is a British portrait photographer. Born 1956 in Winchester, where he grew up; his parents were academics with a lifelong attachment to Italy, where he first encountered classicism and renaissance art. Early life Partner went to school in Winchester and then at Charterhouse School in Surrey, England. He first discovered photography at Winchester School of Art, taking portraits and photo documentary images. Partner's British influences included the early Victorian masters David Hill, Robert Adamson, and Julia Margaret Cameron. He was also influenced by 20th century American photographers such as Paul Strand, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams and the surrealist Man Ray; and by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of painters. After art school, Partner moved to Paris, working as a photographers’ assistant, primarily with fashion and advertising photographers, learning to use mixed lighting techniques, as well as the business of photography. Peter Partner
Peter David Partner (15 July 1924 – 17 January 2015) was a British historian, particularly of medieval Rome and the Middle East. Life Peter Partner was born 15 July 1924 to David and Bertha Partridge Partner in Little Heath, Hertfordshire. His father was with the Metropolitan Police and his mother ran a café in Barnet. During World War II, he served on minesweepers. After the war, he attended Magdalen College, Oxford to read law, but switched to history. In 1953, he married Leila May Fadil (d. 1990), niece of historian Albert Hourani. Partner worked as a journalist many years with ''The Observer'', writing the lead article the first week of the Suez Crisis. He also wrote for ''The Economist'' and broadcast frequently for the BBC on Arab topics.
