Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru
The Sarawak Native People's Party ( ms, Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru), legally known as Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (abbreviated PBDS) is a registered centre-right political party based in Sarawak, Malaysia. It was relatively new when its registration just approved by the Registrar of Society (RoS) on 28 August 2013. PBDS Baru was to contest 5 Dayak-majority seats in the 2016 Sarawak state election. PBDS Baru ahead of the 2018 general election had chosen the pig character as its mascot in which the animal has a deep meaning in the Dayak custom and symbolises the unity of the various Dayak tribes in Sarawak. The party only accepts members from the Dayak ethnicity. PBDS Baru was deregistered by the RoS on 11 June 2019 for failing to submit its annual returns for the years 2014 to 2017 which was supposedly done by the out-going office bearers lost in party election. Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak
The Sarawak Native People's Party or ms, Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) was a political party in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. It was established in 1983, by Datuk Amar Leo Moggie Irok, after seceding from Sarawak National Party (SNAP) following his loss in the contest for the SNAP's president post against Datuk Amar James Wong Kim Ming. PBDS, as a breakaway of SNAP, won 15 seats in the 1987 Sarawak state election, while its ally, Sarawak Malaysian People's Association (PERMAS), won only 5 seats. Overall, the PBDS won 28 constituencies with PBB 14; SUPP 11 and SNAP 3. In both cases, SNAP and PBDS (both parties now defunct) joined the Malaysian National Front or Barisan Nasional (BN) as the ruling coalition. The ''Malay Mail'' is a newspaper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, first published on 1 December 1896 when Kuala Lumpur was the capital of the then new Federated Malay States, making it the first daily newspaper to appear in the FMS. The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia.
