Parthiv Patel
Parthiv Ajay Patel (born 9 March 1985) is a former Indian professional cricketer, wicketkeeper-batsman, and was a member of the Indian national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and played for Gujarat in domestic cricket. Having lost a finger at the age of 9, he initially found it hard to keep wickets, but after enough practice, he was used to it. When Parthiv played for the Indian team in 2002, he became the youngest wicket-keeper to represent a country in Tests. With the emergence of MS Dhoni as wicketkeeper-batsman, Parthiv Patel's chance of becoming the first choice keeper for India faded away. In December 2020, Patel announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. After his retirement, Patel joined Mumbai Indians as a Talent Scout. 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy
The 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy was the 47th edition of the Deodhar Trophy, a List A cricket competition in India. It was contested between three teams selected by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It took place in October and November 2019, after the Duleep Trophy and before the Ranji Trophy. India C were the defending champions. India A lost both of their matches, therefore India B and India C progressed to the final. India B beat India C by 51 runs in the final to win the tournament. 2018–19 Duleep Trophy
The 2018–19 Duleep Trophy was the 57th season of the Duleep Trophy, a first-class cricket tournament in India, which took place in August and September 2018. India Red were the defending champions. All of the matches took place at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul. The BCCI's technical committee structured the tournament to have four teams from four Ranji Trophy Groups, similar to the 2002–03 Duleep Trophy, but on the day of team selections, the format of the previous season was retained. The Jharkhand Cricket Team is a first-class cricket team based in the Indian state of Jharkhand. The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. The 2016–17 Ranji Trophy was the 83rd season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. Unlike previous seasons, the 2016–17 tournament was played at neutral venues.
