Parque Diversiones
El Parque Diversiones Dr. Roberto Ortiz Brenes ( en, The Dr. Roberto Ortiz Brenes Amusement Park, also known as Parque Diversiones or “fun park”) is an amusement park located in San José, Costa Rica. The park's motto is "healthy children help sick children". The park was named for Dr. Brenes, whose proposal for a theme park resulted in the park’s creation. His mission was that the profits from the park would go to support the Dr. Carlos Saenz Herrera National Children's Hospital (Hospital Nacional de Niños, San Juan), established in 1964. The amusement park began operating at the end of 1981. Vekoma
Vekoma Rides Manufacturing is a Dutch amusement ride manufacturer. Vekoma is syllabic abbreviation of Veld Koning Machinefabriek (Veld Koning Machine Factory) which was established in 1926 by Hendrik op het Veld. History The company originally manufactured farm equipment and later made steel constructions for the coal mining industry in the 1950s. As business shifted from farming equipment to steel construction, Veld Koning Machinefabriek was shortened to Vekoma. Vekoma Boomerang
Boomerang is a model of roller coaster manufactured and designed by Vekoma, a Dutch manufacturer. The roller coaster model name is from the hunting implement based on the traditions of the Indigenous Australians. there are 55 Boomerangs operating. Antonio Zamperla S.p.A. is an Italian design and manufacturing company founded in 1966. It is best known for creating family rides, thrill rides and roller coasters worldwide.
