Paro is a district situated in Nduga Regency, Highland Papua. Paro is the district's capital. History Formed in 2011, Paro District was separated from Mapenduma District. The district consisted of five villages. Highland Papua ( id, Papua Pegunungan) is a province of Indonesia, which roughly follows the borders of Papuan customary region of Lano-Pago, shortened to La Pago. History In 2011, Paro was separated from Mapenduma District and joined to a newly established Paro District.
