Parlamentet
''Parlamentet'' ( sv, the parliament) is a satirical panel gameshow on TV4, which parodies Swedish political debate. It was first broadcast in 1999 and is currently in its 23rd series. The current presenter is Anders S. Nilsson, who has hosted the show since 2004. Current team members include Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg and Johan Glans. Kodjo Akolor has also been featured. The program is a Swedish version of the short-run British show If I Ruled the World. The comedians are divided into two teams (''parties''), red and blue, representing traditional political colours. History The show has had many producers over the years including Anders S. Nilsson, Gustaf Skördeman, Stefan Wiik and currently Benjamin Thuresson. The original 1999 panel consisted of Helge Skoog and Johan Wahlström in the blue party with Lasse Eriksson and Annika Lantz in the red party. Henrik Schyffert
Per Henrik Schyffert (born 23 February 1968) is a Swedish comedian, actor, musician and radio and television personality. Career Schyffert was a VJ for MTV Europe in the late 1980s. In 1992 he hosted the comedy TV show ''I Manegen Med Glenn Killing'', also starring Robert Gustafsson and Johan Rheborg. The program was later turned into a successful stage show. In 1993 he created the radio show ''Hassan'' with Kristian Luuk in Stockholm. The show centered on prank phone calls and off-the-wall comedy sketches. He left Hassan as his career with the "Killing" gang took off, and he and Luuk were replaced by Fredrik Lindström. After the show's cancellation in December 1994, ''Hassan'' became a cult phenomenon, and as of October 2008 seven CDs have been released with material from the show. If I Ruled The World (game Show)
''If I Ruled the World'' is a television show aired in the United Kingdom in 1998 and 1999. It was a comedy panel game show, similar to '' Have I Got News for You'' but focused on parodying the behaviour of politicians. Rounds included answering questions without using the words 'Yes' or 'No', and finding reasons to disagree with policies proposed by the other team, no matter how sensible. The winning team was chosen each week by a vote of the studio audience. The show was named after the 1960s theatre song "If I Ruled the World". The show was presented by Clive Anderson. Team captains Graeme Garden and Jeremy Hardy were the Blue and Red Party Leaders, with Anderson quipping that there was no more of an official political difference between these two teams than existed between Britain's major parties of the time. Pär Lernström
Pär Hugo Gustav Lernström, born 4 September 1980, is a Swedish television presenter, perhaps best known for presenting the Swedish Idol series on TV4. He has worked for SR Stockholm, Utbildningsradion, MTV:s morningshow "Mycket mer än müsli", Aftonbladet TV7 and Mix Megapol. Lernström has been TV-host for the Swedish version of Balls of Steel, (Ballar av stål). In 2011 Lernström started to work for TV4. He was TV-host for Parlamentet in 2011. Kodjo Akolor
Kodjo Akolor (born 15 June 1981) is a Swedish TV/radio personality and comedian. Career He started as a comedian in 2005 and after two years became a regular on contemporary R&B themed radio station ''The Voice''. In 2008 Akolor became a reporter for ''Vakna med the voice'' a TV and radio show multi-cast on TV-channel Kanal 5 and ''The Voice radio network''. Staffan Ling
Staffan Ling (born 8 November 1944) is a Swedish actor and television presenter. Ling moved to Umeå to study humanities at the Umeå University during his early years, and became one of the founders of the local student theatre (Umeå Nya Studentteater) in 1964. He was a producer at Sveriges Radio and SVT in Umeå between 1971 and 1987. Amongst the shows he has presented is the quiz show ''Femettan'' broadcast on SVT, the comedy show ''Parlamentet'' and the game show ''Stadskampen'', both on TV4. Lasse Eriksson
Lars Gunnar "Lasse" Eriksson (1 April 1949 – 3 March 2011) was a Swedish comedian, actor and writer. Eriksson was born in Piteå, Sweden. He took a Bachelor of Arts in economic history before he initiated a theatrical career in the 1970s, when he played at the Panic Theatre in Uppsala. With a brass band in 1983, he did the show ''Vad varje kvinna bör veta om män'' (''What every woman should know about men''). Mikael Tornving
Mikael Tornving, (born 15 February 1961) is a Swedish comedian, actor and television presenter. Tornving was born in Östersund and studied personal and worklife at Uppsala University. He is best known as a comedian in the TV4 panel show Parlamentet, and as the character Rolf Nygård as a travelling reporter in Melodifestivalen 2005 during the semifinals. André Wickström
André Wickström (born 11 February 1976 in Sipoo, Eastern Uusimaa, Finland) is a Finland Swedish comedian and actor, performing in both the Swedish and the Finnish language. Wickström was born in Paipis in Sipoo east of Helsinki. His debut as a stand-up comedian came in 1995 and he got his degree from the Theatre Academy in 1999.
