Parkvale is a suburb of Hastings City, in the Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's North Island. Children in the settlement began being educated in hop-drying kiln building in 1919. It remained a separate settlement from Hastings until the second half of the 20th century. Splash Planet is a water park in the suburb. Merivale or Parkvale ( mi, Tutarawanga) is a suburb of Tauranga, in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island. The suburb was established after World War II, when six family farms, including the Merrivale Estate, were purchased by developers and subdivided. Local residents and organisations refer to the area as Merivale. However, some maps refer to the area as Parkvale, and New Zealand Police and Fire and Emergency New Zealand dispatchers often follow these maps. The agencies officially recognise both names. Cambusbarron
Cambusbarron is a village in Stirling, Scotland. In the 2001 census, it had a population of 3,224. There is evidence of settlement at the site since the Bronze Age, and several forts dating from the Iron Age have been found near the village. One such fort is located at Gillies Hill, a large semi-natural ancient woodland area with a range of unusual wildlife, thought to be the site of Robert the Bruce's camp shortly before the Battle of Bannockburn. Cambusbarron grew during the nineteenth century due to the presence of the Hayford Mill, a large wool-spinning mill and tweed manufacturer, on the outskirts of the village.
