Parkland Conference
The Parkland Conference was a division of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) from the 1963 to the 2006 school season. It was formed in 1963 when the Braveland Conference split in two. In 2020, it was announced that the Parkland Conference would be returning for football for at least the next two seasons, replacing one of the Woodland Conference's divisions in the new football-only alignment. Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) is the regulatory body for all high school sports in Wisconsin. Its history dates to 1895, making it the earliest continually existing high school athletic organization in the country. It also provides the licensing program for more than 10,000 officials in the state, and oversees junior high or middle school athletics in about 100 of the state's nearly 400 school districts. Brown Deer High School
Brown Deer Middle/High School is a high school on North 60th Street, Brown Deer, Wisconsin, USA. It serves approximately 800 students in grades 7 through 12. Sports The school's sports teams are known as "The Falcons". The school is part of the Woodland Conference. Formerly in the Parkland Conference, the Falcons moved to the Woodland Conference after the 2005–2006 school year. The AdventHealth Championship is a Korn Ferry Tour event that was played for the first time in 2009 as the Christmas in October Classic. West opened in 1960/1961 as a sister-school to Wauwatosa East High School; together they are part of the Wauwatosa School District. Pius XI High School is a private Catholic high school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Its enrollment is approximately 900. History Pius XI High School, named in honor of Pope Pius XI, was founded in 1929. Originally it offered only the first three years of high school. Luther Preparatory School (LPS or Luther Prep) is a residential four-year secondary school located in Watertown, Wisconsin, United States. Established in 1865, it is owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Dominican High School is a private, Catholic high school in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, United States. It is in, but not funded by, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as a college preparatory high school. Background Father Samuel Mazzuchelli, O.P. (1809–1864), an Italian native who preached and established churches throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, founded the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation of the Most Holy Rosary.
