Parkenfestivalen
Parkenfestivalen is an outdoors festival that takes place in Bodø, Norway every year in August. This has been a tradition ever since 2006, and the festival only gets bigger every year. The festival is held in a park called Rensåsparken. In the beginning the people organizing the festival only expected about 2500 paying visitors, but already the first year many more came. This year it was sold out about 8 months before it took place. The target group for the festival is mainly young adults and adults. About Rensåsparken Rensåsparken is a park close to the center of Bodø. During the year the park is a popular place where people have picnics, take walks and just hang out. Stages This festival has several stages, the main stage, the «park-stage» and the «lairo-stage». The main stage is the biggest, and it is here you will find the most known artists. Bodø (; smj, Bådåddjo, sv, Bodö) is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Salten. The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. Kaizers Orchestra is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed on 1 January 2000. They are notable for being among the first non-black metal Norwegian artists singing in their native language to become popular beyond Scandinavia. Opeth
Opeth is a Swedish progressive metal/rock band from Stockholm, formed in 1990 by lead vocalist David Isberg. The group has been through several personnel changes, including the replacement of every original member; notably Isberg in 1992. Mikael Åkerfeldt has been Opeth's frontman and primary songwriter since Isberg's departure. Sirkus Eliassen is a Norwegian band consisting of brothers Magnus Eliassen and Erik Eliassen. The duo was formed in 2011 releasing its single "Hjem til dæ" that achieved high rotation on Norwegian radio and became a hit on VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart. Hellbillies is a Norwegian rock band. Biography As of 2012, they have released thirteen albums—including a compilation and two live albums—as well as two live concert DVDs. They are among Norway's most popular recording artists. Their lyrics are written and sung in the dialect of the Hallingdal area of Norway and there is evidence of influence from traditional (folk) Norwegian music, giving a distinctive "Norwegian" flavor to their country music. Seigmen (formed in 1989 in Tønsberg, Vestfold, Norway) is a Norwegian alternative rock band who came into prominence in the early 1990s. The band's name is derived from Norwegian sweets brand Laban Seigmenn.
