Park Mains High School
Park Mains High School is a secondary school in Erskine, Renfrewshire. It is one of the biggest schools in Scotland. As well as taking in students from the town it also enrolls them from the surrounding areas of Bishopton (including the new Dargavel Village), Inchinnan, and Langbank. New school building (2012-present) Renfrewshire Council granted a new multimillion-pound rebuild of the school. The new building was opened in August 2012 at a cost of £31m. It was designed and planned by Holmes Miller. Construction was completed by Bam Construction. FES Ltd were the contractors for the electrical, mechanical, IT installations and fire and security systems. The building offers a larger, brighter space for the pupils to feel in a social hub whilst still being in a controlled learning environment. Douglas Alexander
Douglas Garven Alexander (born 26 October 1967) is a Labour politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Paisley and Renfrewshire South, previously Paisley South, from 1997 until his defeat in 2015. Brian O'Neil (footballer Born 1972)
Brian O'Neil (born 6 September 1972) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as a defensive midfielder. O'Neil was forced to retire from the playing staff of Preston North End in October 2006, due to long standing injury problems. Club career Celtic O'Neil started his career at Celtic, where he played 155 competitive games in almost every outfield position and scored 10 times. Highlights of his time at Celtic Park include scoring an injury time winner in October 1993 against the first incarnation of a Rangers team at Ibrox and an extra time winner against Aberdeen in October 1994 in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup. Derek Simon Lilley (born 9 February 1974) is a Scottish former footballer, who played as a striker for several clubs in Scotland and England. Former friend of Stepps Junior Bowling legend, Kevin McAuley. He started his career with Greenock Morton, before a big-money move to Premier League side Leeds United. Peter McDonald Leven (born 27 September 1983) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Keith William Robert Lasley (born 21 September 1979) is a Scottish retired football midfielder, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Scottish Premiership club St Mirren.
