Pariya Junhasavasdikul (born 14 August 1984) is a Thai professional golfer. Junhasavasdikul played college golf at Purdue University (where he majored in business management) in the United States. Junhasavasdikul turned professional in 2008 and plays on the Asian Tour. Rashid Khan (born 15 February 1991) is an Indian professional golfer. As an amateur, Khan played on the Indian team that won the silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games. Khan turned professional later that year and has played on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) since 2011. He finished third on the Order of Merit (money list) in 2011, second in 2012, and first in 2013. He has won four times on the PGTI. Khan began playing on the Asian Tour in 2012. The WGC-HSBC Champions was a professional golf tournament, held annually in China. Inaugurated in 2005, the first seven editions were played at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, then moved to the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen for a single year in 2012. It returned to Sheshan Golf Club in 2013. Since 2009, it was a World Golf Championship event. Established in 1999 as a successor to the World Series of Golf, it was one of three or four annual World Golf Championships (WGC) until 2021, when the number of WGC events was reduced to two. Under sponsorship agreements, the WGC Invitational was titled as the WGC-NEC Invitational (1999–2005) and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (2006–2018). 2008 ASEAN PGA Tour
The ASEAN PGA Tour was a men's developmental professional golf tour. It was formed in 2007 and was created to give more competitive opportunities to young and upcoming professionals in the Southeast Asia region. The tour acted as a developmental tour to the now also defunct OneAsia Tour, giving cards to high finishers on the ASEAN PGA Tour Order of Merit each year. In 2008, the tour signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz, being renamed as the Mercedes-Benz Tour. The deal lasted for three years and finished in 2010.
