Pardesi (1993 Film)
Pardesi is a 1993 Hindi action film Hindi Action film starring Mithun Chakraborty and Varsha Usgaonkar in lead roles and Shakti Kapoor, Sumalatha in supporting roles. Plot Pardesi is the story of young villager Shiva who along with his family wants to be free from the claws of slavery imposed upon by the village Thakur and Lala since many generations. Shiva decides to leave village and go to big city in search of new life but tragedy stuck, he is caught by the police for a heinous murder. Judge Rajiv Verma (Suresh Oberoi) finds Shiva guilty and pronounces death penalty on him. Before Shiva could be hanged he expresses his last wish to meet the Judge the one who had sentenced him. Judge comes, meets Shiva who once again talks of his innocence but before his hanging Shiva also pronounces a sentence on Judge - that only he should go to his family and break the news of his death to his wife - father, sister an young son. Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty (born Gouranga Chakraborty; 16 June 1950) is an Indian actor, producer and politician who predominantly worked in Hindi and Bengali language films. He is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is the recipient of three National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for his acting performance. Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. Suresh Oberoi (born 17 December 1946) is an Indian actor and politician who appeared in Hindi films. He is a recipient of the 1987 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
