Parchhaven
Parchhaven is an Indian Punjabi-language television show produced by Jalandhar Doordarshan in 1996. It depicts the agony and lifelong repentance of a young man whose lust and cowardice lead to the death of his innocent beloved. Plot summary Bulara (Gurpreet Ghuggi) is the young son of a haughty land owner Ratta ( B.N. Sharma) and a cruel mother Melo (Jasdeep Kaur). His elder brother Charna (Raj Kumar Arora) is a weak person. Bulara's childless sister-in-law Debo (Neena Cheema) treats him like her own son. Bulara's elder sister Kaki (Sukhwinder Grewal) falls for the young athlete Kangan (Krishan Arora) who lives in the neighborhood and is a friend, philosopher, and guide for Bulara. Gurpreet Ghuggi
Gurpreet Singh Waraich (born 19 July 1971), commonly known as Gurpreet Ghuggi, is an Indian actor, comedian and politician. He is known for his works in Punjabi and Hindi films. Ghuggi began his career by acting in theatre in the early 1990s, after which he had recurring roles in television series such as ''Ronak Mela'' and the soap opera ''Parchhaven''. He gained international public recognition with comedic leading roles through his videos ''Ghuggi Junction'' (2003) and ''Ghuggi Shoo Mantar'' (2004), before beginning his film career by starring as Patwari Jhilmil Singh in ''Asa Nu Maan Watna Da'' (2004). He starred in the film ''Carry On Jatta'' (2012), and was praised for his meaningful leading role in Ardaas (2015). Ravi Deep (born Ravi Parkash; 30 December 1954) is an Indian theatre and television director, writer, and actor Biography Ravi Deep started stage acting from his school days and got involved in modern theatre during college days at Kapurthala, a town in India. Doordarshan Kendra, Jalandhar also referred as Jalandhar Doordarshan is an Indian television station in Jalandhar, owned and operated by state-owned Doordarshan, the television network of Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India). It was established in 1979, and now produces and broadcasts the 24-hour Punjabi language TV channel, DD Punjabi, which was launched in 1998 and covers most of the state of Punjab, India.
