Parashqevi Qiriazi
Parashqevi Qiriazi, also known as Paraskevi D. Kyrias (2 June 1880 – 17 December 1970) was an Albanian teacher of the Kyrias family who dedicated her life to the Albanian alphabet and to the instruction of written Albanian language. She was a woman participant at the Congress of Manastir, which decided the form of the Albanian alphabet, and the founder of the ''Yll' i Mengjesit'', a women's association. Parashqevi was also a participant in the Paris Peace Conference, 1919 as a member of the Albanian-American community. She was the sister of Sevasti Qiriazi, who was the director of the Mësonjëtorja, the first Albanian School for girls to open in 1891. Voula Zouboulaki ( el, Βούλα Ζουμπουλάκη; born Paraskevi Zouboulaki; 24 September 1924 – 7 September 2015) was an Egyptian-born Greek actress. She was the wife of actor Dimitris Myrat. She attended the Dramatic School of the National Theatre, the School of the National Odeon and the Law School of the University of Athens. Biography Zouboulaki was born in Cairo, on 24 September 1924. She originally studied at the Law School of the University of Athens after her parents pressure but soon she turned to the theatre and attended the Dramatic School of the National Theatre. In 1951, she wed actor Dimitris Myrat. She began her career at the National Lyric Stage in 1952 and two years later appeared in prose. Born in Tripotamo (part of Florina prefecture), Patoulidou throughout her athletics career competed in the 100 metres, 100 metres hurdles and in the long jump events. Paraskevi Tsiamita ( el, Παρασκευή Τσιαμίτα, , born March 10, 1972) is a former track and field athlete from Greece who competed in long jump and triple jump. In 1998 she improved her personal best in triple jump by approximately one metre, and became world champion in 1999 with a personal best jump of 15.07 metres. This was the national record until 2004, when Hrysopiyi Devetzi jumped 15.32 m at the Olympic Games. Her personal best in long jump is 6.93 metres, achieved in August 1999 in Patras. Paraskevi "Voula" Papachristou ( gr, Παρασκευή (Βούλα) Παπαχρήστου ; born 17 April 1989) is a Greek triple jumper and long jumper. She won two gold medals at the European Athletics U23 Championships and took the third place at the 2016 World indoor Championships. She was removed from the Greek team for the 2012 London Olympics by the Greek Olympic Committee after making a racist comment online. At the 2016 Summer Olympics' final in Rio de Janeiro, she took the 8th place. In 2018 she was the European Champion in Berlin with a jump of 14,60 metres. Paraskevi ( el, Παρασκευή) is a village and a community of the Deskati municipality.
