The Righteous Brothers
The Righteous Brothers are an American musical duo originally formed by Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield but now comprising Medley and Bucky Heard. Medley formed the group with Hatfield in 1963. They had first performed together in 1962 in the Los Angeles area as part of a five-member group called the Paramours, and adopted the name The Righteous Brothers when they became a duo. Their most active recording period was in the 1960s and '70s, and, after several years inactive as a duo, Hatfield and Medley reunited in 1981 and continued to perform until Hatfield's death in 2003. The music they performed is sometimes dubbed " blue-eyed soul". Medley sang the low parts with his bass-baritone voice, with Hatfield taking the higher-register vocals with his tenor. His voice reached the register of ...

Paramour (Cirque Du Soleil)
''Paramour'' was Cirque du Soleil's first resident musical theatre show at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway, New York City. ''Paramour'' was themed to the "Golden age of Hollywood" and followed the life of "a poet who is forced to choose between love and art". It had similar elements to Cirque du Soleil's retired Los Angeles resident show in ''Iris'' (which was also themed on cinema) written and created by Philippe Decouflé, and had a 38-person onstage cast with actress Ruby Lewis in the lead as Indigo. ''Paramour'' began preview shows on April 16, 2016, with an official premiere on May 25, 2016. It closed exactly one year after its first preview show, on 16 April 2017. During previews, ''Paramour'' got off to a strong start and grossed over $1 million in its first six shows. The show was directed by French director-choreographer Philippe Decouflé, who was also the director of the cinema themed Cirque du Soleil show ''Iris''. The rest of the creative team was also the same as fo ...

Paramour Mansion
The Canfield-Moreno Estate is a historic residence and estate located in the Moreno Highlands neighborhood of Silver Lake, Los Angeles, California. It was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1988. Originally known as Crestmount, the estate also is called the Paramour Estate. History The mansion is a Mediterranean Revival mansion on 4.5 acres. It was designed by architect Robert D. Farquhar and built in 1923. When it was the opulent residence of silent film star Antonio Moreno and his wife and oil heiress Daisy Canfield Moreno, daughter of pioneer oilman Charles A. On February 23, 1933, Daisy Canfield died of injuries she sustained in a car crash; her chauffeur-driven car plunged off Mulholland Drive while en route home from a party. Since then, the 22-room estate has seen many incarnations, including the Chloe P. Canfield School for Girls. I ...
