Param Singh MBE (Punjabi: ਪਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ) (born in London, England) is a British business and technology consultant, philanthropist and reality television personality and has worked for various companies including the Ford Motor Company, Rolls-Royce, Sainsbury's and Accenture. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2019 New Years Honours Career Singh has worked with Internet startup companies since 2011 after launching an online 'find a lawyer' website, similar to trip advisor. He is a founding member and spokesperson for City Sikhs which is a charity representing the interests of British Sikh professionals. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. Romesh Ranganathan
Jonathan Romesh Ranganathan (born 27 March 1978), is an English actor and comedian. He is known for his deadpan and often self-deprecating comedy. Ranganathan has made numerous appearances on television comedy panel shows, and in 2016 he co-presented '' It's Not Rocket Science'' on ITV, alongside Rachel Riley and Ben Miller. He has also been a regular panellist on '' The Apprentice: You're Fired!'', '' Play to the Whistle'', and ''The Museum of Curiosity''. City Sikhs (formerly City Sikhs Network) ( Punjabi: ਸਿਟੀ ਸਿੱਖ) is a nonprofit organisation, and a registered charity which describes itself as "A voice for progressive Sikhs". It promotes networking, education and volunteering amongst Sikh professionals and provides a platform for engagement with the British Sikh community. History City Sikhs was launched in London in October 2010 by a group of Sikh professionals. The idea for the organisation came about after the founder of City Sikhs, Param Singh became friends with Dhruv Patel OBE, the founder of the City Hindus Network through a leadership training programme they both attended.
