Mónica Ocampo
Mónica Ocampo Medina (born 4 January 1987) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a forward for CF Pachuca and the Mexico women's national team. Club career From 2006 to 2009, Ocampo played with W-League club FC Indiana. In 2010, she signed with Atlanta Beat in the WPS. She made 17 appearances for the club and scored three goals. On 11 January 2013 she joined Sky Blue FC in the new National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). On 26 June 2013, Ocampo scored goals in the 85th and 92nd minute to lead Sky Blue to a 2–2 tie with FC Kansas City. On 10 August, Ocampo scored two goals in a 3–3 tie between Sky Blue and the Chicago Red Stars. Ocampo was voted player of the week in the NWSL on 19 June 2013 and player of the month for August 2013. Riocentro Sports Complex
Riocentro is an exhibition and convention center located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Built in 1977, it is the largest exhibition center in Latin America. Notable events 1981 May Day attack On April 30, 1981, during a May Day music concert, Riocentro was the target of a terrorist attack by hardliner members of the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964–1985). Sergeant Guilherme Pereira do Rosário and then-Captain Wilson Dias Machado, nowadays a Colonel, were responsible for detonating two bombs at the venue. Around 9 p.m., however, one of the bombs exploded in the lap of Sergeant Rosário, killing him and seriously wounding Machado. A second bomb exploded a few miles away at a powerhouse responsible for providing electrical energy to Riocentro; it was thrown over the fence and exploded on the ground, and the electric power supply was never interrupted that evening. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The rules of overtime or extra time vary between sports and even different competitions. Some may employ " sudden death", where the first player or team who scores immediately wins the game. In others, play continues until a specified time has elapsed, and only then is the winner declared. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). Guatemala National Futsal Team
The Guatemala national futsal team represents Guatemala in international futsal competitions, such as the World Cup and the CONCACAF Championships, and is governed by the Federación Nacional de Fútbol. In March 2015, the Futsal league, as well as the federation, formed their own body headed by Gerardo Paiz as head of Guatemalan Futsal. Paiz has provided Guatemala with many victories and titles in the last decade. Many believe that his leadership and isolation from the Federación Nacional de Fútbol, a group that most Guatemalans associate with corruption, has benefited futsal in the country.
