"Paper Thin" is the third single from MC Lyte's debut album ''Lyte as a Rock''. It is produced by King of Chill, who along with Lyte has songwriting credits. The song, which is about Lyte confronting her boyfriend over infidelity, became an underground hit, selling 125,000 copies in the first six months with virtually no radio play. In 2003, ''The Source'' placed Paper Thin 24 in their list ''"Top 151 Rap Songs of All-Time"''. In April 2013, the song was included 8 on Complex's ''"The 50 Best Rap Songs by Women"'' list. Lana Michele Moorer (born October 11, 1970), better known by her stage name MC Lyte, is an American rapper, DJ, actress and entrepreneur. Considered one of the pioneers of female rap, Lyte first gained fame in the late 1980s, becoming the first solo female rapper to release a full album with 1988's critically acclaimed ''Lyte as a Rock''. The New York Transit Museum (also called the NYC Transit Museum) is a museum that displays historical artifacts of the New York City Subway, bus, and commuter rail systems in the greater New York City metropolitan region. Ray Charles Robinson Sr. (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004) was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. Albert Leornes Greene (born April 13, 1946), better known as Al Green, is an American singer, songwriter, pastor and record producer best known for recording a series of soul hit singles in the early 1970s, including " Take Me to the River", "Tired of Being Alone", " I'm Still in Love with You", "Love and Happiness", and his signature song, " Let's Stay Together". Album information In 1993, Prince wanted to release ''Goldnigga'', the debut album by his band The New Power Generation, but Warner Bros. refused and instead decided to finally release the greatest hits collection they had wanted to release two years earlier when Prince instead got ''Diamonds and Pearls'' released. Discs one and two were released separately, under the titles ''The Hits 1'' and '' The Hits 2'' respectively, but ''The B-Sides'' disc could only be obtained by purchasing the full set.
