Paolo Tiralongo (born 8 July 1977) is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2000 and 2017 for the , , and teams. Career In 2009, while riding for , Tiralongo registered his best final result on a Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tour, finishing the 2009 Vuelta a España, Vuelta a España in eighth position after riding consistently in the mountain stages. He conceded a little over 9 minutes to the victor, Spaniard Alejandro Valverde of . He joined Astana for the 2010 season, on a 2-year contract. 2011 Tour De Romandie
The 2011 Tour de Romandie, was the 65th running of the Tour de Romandie cycling stage race. It started on 26 April in Martigny and ended on 1 May in Geneva and consisted of six stages, including a race-commencing prologue stage and also a penultimate day individual time trial. It was the 13th race of the 2011 UCI World Tour season. The race was won by rider Cadel Evans, who claimed the leader's yellow jersey for the second time – having previously won the race in 2006 – with an eighth-place finish on the penultimate time trial stage, and held his advantage to the end of the race. Alberto Contador Velasco (; born 6 December 1982) is a Spanish former professional cyclist. He is one of the most successful riders of his era, winning the Tour de France twice ( 2007, 2009), the Giro d'Italia twice (2008, 2015), and the Vuelta a España three times (2008, 2012, 2014). The Italian National Road Race Championships are held annually. They are a road cycling race which decides the Italian cycling champion in the road racing discipline, across several categories of rider. The event was first held in 1906 and was won by Giovanni Cuniolo. At the beginning there were often back-to-back wins from many riders. Costante Girardengo made the remarkable achievement of 9 wins between 1913 and 1925. The 2015 Giro del Trentino was the 39th edition of the Giro del Trentino cycling stage race. The official name of the race was Giro del Trentino-Melinda, as the former one-day race Trofeo Melinda merged with the Giro del Trentino due to financial issues. For this reason, the last stage of Giro del Trentino passed through Val di Sole and the Non Valley, on the traditional route of the Trofeo Melinda. The race started on 21 April in Riva del Garda and ended on 24 April in Cles. The race consisted of four stages; as in recent years, the first was a team time trial from Riva del Garda to Arco.
