Paolo Bediones
Paolo Antonio Barba Bediones (born March 17, 1974) is a Filipino television host, newscaster, radio commentator and actor. Bediones started his career as a commercial model, and later transitioned to television show hosting. He is best known for hosting GMA Network's ''Extra Challenge'' and ''Survivor Philippines''. He is now a TV host and the newest newscaster on TV5. On December 3, 2009, Bediones announced in a press conference that he had signed a three-year exclusive contract with TV5 (formerly ABC-5), owned by TV5 Network Inc. (formerly Associated Broadcasting Company). Personal life Paolo, only male child among four offspring, was born to Rodolfo Pineda Bediones (from Roxas City, Capiz) and Maria Teresa Barba who separated when Paolo was still young. Binibining Pilipinas 2008 was the 45th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It took place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 8, 2008. At the end of the event, Anna Teresa Licaros crowned Jennifer Barrientos as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2008, Margaret Wilson crowned Janina San Miguel as Binibining Pilipinas World 2008, and Nadia Lee Cien Shami crowned Patricia Fernandez as Binibining Pilipinas International 2008. Danielle Castaño was named First Runner-Up and Elizabeth Jacqueline Nacuspag was named 2nd Runner-Up. Due to personal reasons including the death of her grandfather, Janina San Miguel resigned her title as Binibining Pilipinas World 2008 in September 2008. Cheryl Kathleen Cosim-Alvarez (; born February 7, 1974) is a Filipina journalist, news anchor and TV host. She began her career as a journalist at ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, hosting the programs ''Magandang Umaga, Pilipinas'', ''Salamat Dok'', the hourly news updates, and a radio show on DZMM. Originally anchored by Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim and Erwin Tulfo it premiered on April 5, 2010, on the network's evening line up replacing '' TEN: The Evening News''.
