Pangi Territory
Pangi Territory is an administrative area in Maniema Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The headquarters is the town of Pangi. The Elila River flows through Pangi territory, entering the Lualaba River to the west. The territory is divided into the Babene chiefdom and the Beia, Ikama, Wakabango and Wasongola sectors. Most of the territory is inhabited by the Lega people, as are the adjoining Mwenga and Shabunda Shabunda is a town and a territory of South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Pangi Valley
Pangi is a tehsil of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Pangi Valley is a beautiful and poorly developed tribal area, as well as one of the most remote areas in Himachal Pradesh state. The Pangi Valley is divided into the Saichu, Hudan Bhatori, Anch Chaloli and Sural Bhatori valleys, which are inhabited at elevations of to above sea level. Tenom Pangi Dam
Tenom Pangi Dam is the hydroelectric plant in Tenom, Sabah, Malaysia. It is located south of Kota Kinabalu on the Padas River. The project is a run-of-river hydroelectric power plant. Tenom Pangi Dam is the only major hydroelectric dam in Sabah. The power station has three turbines of 22 MW installed capacity totaling 66 MW. Continuous power output is 66 MW. Average annual energy output is 400 GWh. The station is operated by Sabah Electricity. Construction started in 1978 and was completed in 1984. The dam began operation in . Pangi (Maroon)
Pangi is the name used by the Maroon people of Suriname for a type of cloth, and also for a wrap that may be made from this cloth. Pangi cloth is a cotton fabric with multi-colored vertical and horizontal stripes, similar to West African kente cloth. It may be used by women for a wrap or a sling to carry a baby, by men for a breech cloth or shoulder cape and for other purposes such as making a hammock. In Suriname wrap skirts worn by women of all ethnic groups are called ''Pangi'' whether or not they are made of Pangi material. The Suriname Maroons are the descendants of people who were brought from Africa as slaves after the mid-1600s and who escaped to live in the forests of the interior, eventually obtaining the right of self-government from the colonial powers.
