Vicente "Ben" Cabrera Pangelinan ( - ) was a Guamanian politician and businessman who served as the speaker of the Guam Legislature from 2003 to 2005, representing from Barrigada, as a Democrat from 1993 to his death in 2014. Pangelinan was the former sitting chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations, Taxation, Banking, Insurance, Retirement, and Land in the 32nd Guam Legislature. Susan Pangelinan
Susan Pangelinan is a Chamorro-American member of the United States Air Force who oversaw California's response to the 2008 wildfires. She was awarded the STEM Role Model Award by the Department of Defense in 2009, and ''Business Insider'' called her one of the Most Impressive Women in the U.S. Military in 2013. Early life and education Pangelinan was born in 1961 on Andersen Air Force Base in Guam to her father, Artemio Pangelinan, a retired Air Force serviceman, and her mother, Chilang Pangelinan. Military career Pangelinan is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and was assigned to the Pentagon following the September 11th attacks. She also assisted with rescue operations in New York City. Edward De Leon Guerrero Pangelinan (October 24, 1941 – February 4, 2023) was a politician from the Northern Mariana Islands. He served as the Chairman of the Marianas Political Status Commission and later as the 1st Resident Representative from the Northern Mariana Islands to the United States House of Representatives. He attended the University of Guam for two years before transferring to George Washington University to earn his bachelors. Lourdes T. Pangelinan (born 19 October 1954) was the first female director general of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community. Pangelinan was born in 1954 in Guam and grew up in the village of Asan. She attended the Adelup Elementary School, and in 1966 her family moved to California, where she attended Castro Valley High School. She received a degree in international relations from the University of California, Davis in 1976. She took an additional year of postgraduate study in France. Following her graduation she worked as a journalist with the Pacific Daily News in Guam. In 1979 she was appointed Special Assistant to the Lieutenant Governor of Guam.
