Electronic music is a genre of music that employs electronic musical instruments, digital instruments, or circuitry-based music technology in its creation. Chris Lake
Chris Lake (born 8 August 1982) is a British electronic music producer and DJ. He rose to fame in 2006 with his hit single, "Changes", featuring Laura V. Musical career Lake first became recognized for his bootleg remixes of the Prodigy's "Climbatize", Leftfield's "Phat Planet", and Eurythmics' " Sweet Dreams", which he did under the alias Cristophe D'Abuc in 2002. By 2006, "Changes", featuring Laura V, reached the UK Singles Chart peaking at number 27. The track was licensed by Universal Music for a full worldwide release where it then reached number 10 on ''Billboard'''s Hot Dance Airplay chart. Andy Moor (born Andrew Beardmore; 16 January 1980) is an English trance DJ, producer and remixer. He used multiple aliases in the past and was part of many other acts such as Tilt, Whiteroom, Leama & Moor, and Zoo DJs. Moor received several awards, including a Grammy Award nomination in December 2007, for his remix of Canadian artist Delerium with "Angelicus" featuring vocals from Isabel Bayrakdarian, ‘Best Dance Record,’ at the 2006 International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference in Miami and, ‘Best Trance Producer’ and ‘Best Trance Track’ at the ‘Trance Awards’" in 2004, ranked in the top 15 DJs in the world numerous times by DJ Mag with a vast and loyal following. Tilt (producers)
Tilt is an English group of electronic record producers, composed of Mick Park and Nic Britton. Tilt was formed in Coventry, England by Mick Park and Mick Wilson. In 1990, they became resident DJs at The Eclipse, which was the first legal all night rave dance venue in the United Kingdom. During their time at Eclipse, they DJ'd alongside Sasha, who inspired them to produce their own musical material. In 1993, they met with John Graham and formed Tilt. Engineered by Nic Britton at Bassroom/Midiroom Studios in Stoke-on-Trent, their first big hit single came in 1996 with "I Dream", released on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records. Tilt released several other singles such as "My Spirit", "Places", and "Butterfly", as well as "Rendezvous", which they recorded with Paul van Dyk. Nine Below Zero
Nine Below Zero are an English blues band, who have a cult following throughout Europe. They became popular during the period 1980–1982 and are still performing currently throughout the UK, Scandinavia and Europe as of 2022. Career The band was originally formed in South London in 1977 by guitarist and lead vocalist Dennis Greaves. He was joined by bassist Peter Clark, Kenny Bradley on drums, and vocalist and harmonica player Mark Feltham. They were originally named 'Stan's Blues Band' and for the next two years they played in London clubs. In 1979, while playing at The Thomas A'Beckett pub in the Old Kent Road they accepted an offer from former musician Mickey Modern to manage them. Modern persuaded the band to change their name. Greaves chose Nine Below Zero after the Sonny Boy Williamson II song. Modern was signed to A&M Records and he persuaded A&M to give him a record label, M&L Records, to launch Nine Blow Zero.
