Panel Syndicate is an Internet, online publisher of DRM-free pay what you want digital comics in multiple languages, founded by Marcos Martín (cartoonist), Marcos Martín to publish his and Brian K. Vaughan's Creator ownership#Comic books, creator-owned comic ''The Private Eye'' in March 2013. To date Panel Syndicate has published comics in English language, English, Spanish language, Spanish, Catalan language, Catalan, Portuguese language, Portuguese, and French language, French, with additional languages in development. ''The Private Eye'' has received critical acclaim and media attention for its role as one of the first DRM-free, pay what you want comics by creators of Martín and Vaughan's caliber. Bleeding Cool is an Internet news site, focusing on comics, television, film, board games, and video games. Owned by Avatar Press, it was launched by Rich Johnston on March 27, 2009. Avatar Press also publishes an associated magazine, ''Bleeding Cool''. Content Among Bleeding Cool's features are a power list detailing the most influential people in the comics industry. In 2012, Bleeding Cool covered sexual harassment accusations leveled against DC Comics editor Eddie Berganza, beginning with an incident at WonderCon in Anaheim, California. Free Comic Book Day
Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to attract new readers to independent comic book stores. It usually takes place on the first Saturday of May and is often cross-promoted with the release of a superhero film. Over two thousand participating stores give away millions of comic books annually. The event was proposed by Joe Field in the August 2001 issue of '' Comics & Games Retailer'' magazine and Free Comic Book Day was launched in 2002, coordinated by the industry's single large distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors. David López (artist)
David López (born 1975 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is a Spanish comic book artist. Biography López started his comics career in the Spanish fanzine before moving on to work on ''Espiral''. In 2002 he moved to the American comic book market. He is best known for co-creating and illustrating the first volume of the monthly series ''Fallen Angel'', which was co-created by writer Peter David, and published by DC Comics. After the series was canceled in May 2005 following its twentieth issue, it was picked up by IDW Publishing in December of that year, but Lopez did not continue on it as artist, although he did provide the covers. |

Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share.
