Pandhayam (2008 Film)
''Pandhayam'' () is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, starring Nithin Sathya and Sindhu Tolani while Prakash Raj and Raadhika play supporting roles. Vijay did a guest role as himself. The music was composed by Vijay Antony with cinematography by Srinivas Devamsam and editing by J. N. Harsha. The film released on 19 September 2008. Plot Masanam ( Prakash Raj), a local thug and criminal who kills people, slowly rises up the ranks to be a minister. Shakthivel (Nithin Sathya) is a die-hard fan of an actor Vijay and studies in college. He falls in love with Masanam's sister Thulasi (Sindhu Tolani) and challenges him (he has a reason for that), and a cat-and-mouse game ensues. Shoba Chandrashekhar
Mahalakshmi Menon, best known by her stagename Shobha (23 September 1962 – 1 May 1980), was an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films. At the age of 17, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1979 Tamil film ''Pasi''. She also received three Kerala State Film Awards: for Best Actress (1978), Best Supporting Actress (1977) and Best Child Artist (1971); and two Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress in Kannada (1978) and Tamil (1979) films. Ramya NSK is an Indian playback singer, who has predominantly sung for Tamil language and films. Apart from her work as a singer, she is recognised for being the granddaughter of comedian N. S. Ceylon Manohar ( ta, சிலோன் மனோகர்) ( – 22 January 2018), popular name of A. E. Manoharan (Anthony Pillai Emmanuel Manoharan) also known as Surangani Manohar ( ta, சுராங்கனி மனோகர் ), was a pop singer and actor.
