''Viola hirta'' is a species of the plant genus ''Viola''. It is also called the hairy violet. As with the sweet violet, no fossil seeds of this species have been found. It is confined to the cold temperate zone, in Europe, north and west Asia, extending as far as northwest India. ''Pancalia schwarzella'' is a moth in the family Cosmopterigidae. It is found in almost all of Europe, except the south-east. In southern Europe, it is mainly found in mountainous areas up to altitudes of about 2,600 meters.
