Panama Claro Championship
The Panama Championship is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is played annually at Panama Golf Club in Panama City, Panama. It is one of several tournaments on the Korn Ferry Tour held outside the United States. The 2023 purse was $1,000,000. Panama City ( es, Ciudad de Panamá, links=no; ), also known as Panama (or Panamá in Spanish), is the capital and largest city of Panama. Roberto Díaz (golfer)
Roberto Díaz (born 3 February 1987) is a Mexican professional golfer. He currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. He played collegiate golf for USC Aiken from 2005 to 2008 before turning professional in 2009. Professional career In 2017, Díaz lost in a playoff to Ethan Tracy at the Club Colombia Championship. The finish moved him from outside the top 700 in the Official World Golf Ranking to 462nd, which qualified him for the WGC-Mexico Championship by being the highest-ranked Mexican golfer. Díaz also qualified for the U.S. Open, his first major championship, when Phil Mickelson withdrew to attend his daughter's high school graduation. He would go on to shoot 72-76 to miss the cut. Kyle Thompson
Kyle Thompson (born April 25, 1979) is a former American professional golfer. Professional career Thompson is a former member of the PGA Tour. He played on the PGA Tour in 2018, 2012 and 2008, failing to keep his card each time. Thompson was a member of the Nationwide Tour from 2003 to 2007. He won two events in 2007 which put him in the top 25 on the money list which earned him a PGA Tour card for 2008. He returned to the Nationwide Tour in 2009 after making nine cuts in 26 events. Thompson again returned to the PGA Tour in 2012, but only made 3 cuts in 22 events. He earned his fourth Web.com Tour win at the 2015 Rex Hospital Open, the third time he won that event. Ryan Armour
Ryan Patrick Armour (born February 27, 1976) is an American professional golfer. His father is David Armour and his mother is Jude Armour of Silver Lake, Ohio. His grandfather was Frank Armour Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who was president of H.J. Heinz Co. Armour attended Ohio State University. He earned third-team All-American honors in 1998 and was selected to the All-Big Ten squad in 1995 and 1998. He also made it to the 1993 U.S. Junior Amateur Golf Championship final, losing to Tiger Woods on the first playoff hole. Armour played on the Nationwide Tour, now Korn Ferry Tour from 2004 to 2006. Christopher Ryan Baker (born March 1, 1986) is an American professional golfer who has played on the Challenge Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Amateur career Baker was born in Seymour, Indiana. He won the 2003 Indiana High School State Championship and lettered in golf at Iowa State University, winning the 2007 Big Four Tournament, he graduated in 2008. Professional career Baker turned professional in 2008 and began playing on mini-tours. Andrew Putnam
Andrew David Putnam (born January 25, 1989) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Early years Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Putnam graduated high school in 2007 from Life Christian Academy. His older brother Michael has also played on the PGA Tour. Putnam played college golf in southern California at Pepperdine University in Malibu from 2007 to 2011. He won two tournaments and was a three time All-American. Edward Loar
James Edward Loar III (born November 15, 1977) is an American professional golfer. Loar was born in Dallas, Texas. He is a left-handed golfer. Loar played college golf at Oklahoma State University (OSU). He won five college tournaments and his team won the NCAA Division I Championship in 2000. He was a four-time All-American at OSU. He also won four amateur events outside of college: the Southwest Amateur in 1997, the Southern Amateur in 1999, and the Sunnehanna Amateur in 1999 and 2000.
