The Panama women's national volleyball team is the national team of Panama. The far over weighted team played in the 2011 NORCECA Championship under the guidance of Reynaldo Ortega. The team ended-up in the 9th place. Panama ( , ; es, link=no, Panamá ), officially the Republic of Panama ( es, República de Panamá), is a transcontinental country spanning the southern part of North America and the northern part of South America. The 2011 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship, was held from September 12 to 17, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. The winner qualified for the 2011 FIVB Women's World Cup, in Japan. NORCECA Women's Volleyball Championship
The NORCECA Women's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). Since its introduction in 1969 the tournaments have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Cuba and United States, which won together 21 of the 26 editions of the tournament. Women's Sport In Panama
A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). The plural ''women'' is sometimes used in certain phrases such as "women's rights" to denote female humans regardless of age. Typically, women inherit a pair of X chromosomes, one from each parent, and are capable of pregnancy and giving birth from puberty until menopause.
