Pan Zili
Pan Zili () (May 1904 – May 22, 1972) was a People's Republic of China diplomat and politician. He was born in Hua County, Shaanxi. Early life Pan Zili was born in Zaoyuan Village, Huaxian County, Shaanxi Province. At the age of 17, he joined the artillery battalion of the Shaanxi Mixed Brigade. He enrolled in the Xianlin Middle School the following year. He was influenced by the early revolutionaries of Shaanxi, such as Wei Yechu and Wang Fusheng, and joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League in 1923. After the May 30th Movement broke out in 1925, Pan Zili organized youths to participate in anti-imperialist demonstrations; afterwards, he was instructed by the CCP to conduct youth and military movements in Shaanxi and Henan. Huazhou District
Huazhou District (), formerly Hua County or Huaxian (), is a district of Weinan, Shaanxi province, China. It was upgraded from a county to a district in 2015. The district spans an area of , and has a population of about 324,300 as of 2012. History During the Western Zhou period, the area belonged to the State of Zheng. During the Spring and Autumn period, the State of Qin established in the area of present-day Huazhou. Zheng County was put under the jurisdiction of Hua Prefecture. Early in the Yuan dynasty, Zheng County was merged into Hua Prefecture. The epicenter of the 1556 Shaanxi earthquake was in Huazhou District. In 1913, Hua Prefecture was re-organized as Hua County. On May 23, 1949, the area was taken by forces of the People's Liberation Army. Ni Zhiliang () (October 1900 – December 15, 1965) was a People's Republic of China diplomat and People's Liberation Army lieutenant general. He was the 1st People's Republic of China Ambassador to North Korea (1950–1952). He joined the Communist Party of China in October 1926 and participated in the Guangzhou Uprising. In May 1928, he went to the border region of Hubei, Henan and Anhui. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, he was a member of the Eighth Route Army, serving in Shanxi, Hebei and Henan. In October 1945 he went to Northeast China.
