Ana Carolina Ardohaín Dos Santos (born 17 January 1978) is an Argentine model, television personality, dancer, television host and actress. She is widely known by the nickname Pampita, a diminutive for La Pampa, the province where she was born. Personal life Carolina Ardohaín was born on 17 January 1978 in General Acha, La Pampa, Argentina: she was one of very few people baptised at the monastery of Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. Her father is Argentine, her mother is Brazilian. Bailando Por Un Sueño 2008
''Bailando por un Sueño 2008'' was the fifth Argentinean season of ''Bailando por un Sueño''. The first show of the season aired on April 14, 2008 as part of the original show, '' Showmatch'', broadcast on Canal 13 and hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. This time, there were 40 couples competing, and the competition lasted 35 weeks. The winner was revealed on the season finale, on December 11, 2008: the model Carolina "Pampita" Ardohaín, who was paired with the professional dancer Nicolás Armengol. This season was the first to include among the participants international celebrities such as Gabriela Bo (from Paraguay), Ilona "Cicciolina" Staller (from Italy), María Eugenia "Kenita" Larraín (from Chile) and Serafín Zubiri (from Spain). Bailando 2011
''Bailando 2011'' was the seventh Argentinean season of ''Bailando por un Sueño''. The season premiere aired on May 16, 2011 on El Trece with 30 couples, including same-sex pairs for the first time in the Argentinean show– José María Muscari in the male couple; in the female couple, initially Silvina and Vanina Escudero, then Silvina Escudero and Sofía Pachano– and, for the first time in the world, a contestant with dwarfism: Noelia Pompa, a singer. The premiere featured special appearances by Mariano Martinez, Carolina "Pampita" Ardohaín, Ariel "El Burrito" Ortega, Alberto Cormillot (the physician of '), and Griselda Siciliani, who performed dance routines during the show's opening. ''Bailando 2021'' is the fifteenth season of ''Bailando por un Sueño'' which premiered as a segment on the program '' Showmatch'' on May 17, 2021, on the El Trece network following the permanent cancellation of the planned 2020 season. However, the competition will start a day later, on May 18. Marcelo Tinelli returned as host. In addition, the program will feature for the first time a digital host who will be Lizardo Ponce (also a contestant in this edition). The season was also named as "La Academia" (''The academy''), because participants must learn and show multiple artistic disciplines —singing, skating, acrobatics, imitation, acting— in addition to performing a dance presentation. There will be new challenges from different artistic manifestations. ''Bailando 2016'' is the eleventh season of ''Bailando por un Sueño''. The season premiere aired on 30 May 2016, on El Trece. However, the competition started a day later, on 31 May. Marcelo Tinelli, once again, was the host for the show's. On 19 December 2016, theatre producer & actor Pedro Alfonso and reality TV star Florencia Vigna were announced winners. Singer Ezequiel Cwirkaluk and dancer & TV personality Bárbara Silenzi finished second. Cast Teams Initially, 26 teams were confirmed. Originally, the format of the show consisted of a celebrity paired with an amateur dancer called ''dreamer''. They had to demonstrate their skills in various styles in order to fulfill the amateur dancer's dream. ''Desire'' (Spanish: ''Desearás al hombre de tu hermana'') is a 2017 period erotic thriller film directed by Diego Kaplan and written by Erika Halvorsen based on an idea by Alex Kahanoff.
