Pamela McNeill
Pamela NcNeill is an American singer-songwriter. She grew up in Winona, Minnesota. She studied classical music for 16 years and joined her first rock and roll band playing throughout the Midwest at the age of 16. McNeill has written songs for many artists such as Wynonna Judd. She wrote the lyrics to "Love is All" - from Yanni's 1997 multi platinum album ''Tribute'' as well as "The Promise" and "Almost a Whisper" for Yanni Yiannis Chryssomallis ( el, Γιάννης Χρυσομάλλης; born November 14, 1954), known professionally as Yanni ( ), is a Greek-American composer, keyboardist, pianist, and music producer. Winona is a city in and the county seat of Winona County, in the state of Minnesota. Located in bluff country on the Mississippi River, its most noticeable physical landmark is Sugar Loaf. The city is named after legendary figure Winona, who some sources claimed was the first-born daughter of Chief Wapasha of the Dakota people. The population was 25,948 at the 2020 census. ''Tribute'' is the second live album and third concert film by Greek keyboardist and songwriter Yanni, released in November 1997 on Virgin Records. It was recorded at the Taj Mahal, India in March 1997 and the Forbidden City, China, in May 1997, both featuring Yanni performing with a seven-piece band, choir, and 27-piece orchestra. ''Tribute'' went to No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Top New Age Album chart and No. 21 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The concert film was released in December 1997.
